SERVICE POLICIES

All games sold by S & B Amusements are fully restored or reconditioned unless specified. Our local warranty is 90 Days Parts/Labor. New games come with a 6 Month Parts/Labor Warranty. During the warranty period, there are no hidden fees. You will not be charged for parts, labor or service calls! Our Warranty covers the entire machine. The only exception would be customer misuse or abuse. What this means is do not attempt any repair on your machine during the warranty period. That is what we are here for. It is our promise that warranty repairs will be made within a timely fashion. Most of these can be scheduled within a few days of your call. A trip fee will be charged for our out of town customers during the warranty period. This can be discussed at time of purchase.   If you bring the game to us, we will repair it free of charge during the warranty period.

Service Policies

Our service call rate is $135.00. We do not charge travel time unless the game is located outside of Austin. Once again, that fee can be determined prior to scheduling. The service call charge does include 1 hour of service but does not include parts. After the first hour, our labor rate is billed in quarter hours at the rate of $125.00 per hour. We offer a 90 Day Parts/Labor Warranty on all repairs. In store service is charged at the rate of $100.00 per hour with a $50 minimum.  S & B Amusements will give a free estimate on any game brought to our store for repairs.  In field estimates cost a service call.   However, S & B Amusements will split the service call if the work is done by us.

Restorations

We do some of the finest restorations in the country. All our restorations are treated like games we have sold and are given a complete 90 days Parts/Labor Warranty. Due to the length of time involved in these jobs, the fee is bid out.

Trade-Ins

We give a 75% trade in on all games sold by S & B Amusements. The trade in must be used towards a game of equal or greater value. Unfortunately, due to the cost of shipping this policy is for our local customers only. There is no set time frame on the trade in. However, we reserve the right to lower that amount after a 12 month period. 

We Want your Games!

S & B Amusements pays top dollar for games, especially Pinballs.  If you have one for sale, please check with us first.  If we are not interested or cannot pay your asking price, at least we can give you a fair idea of what your game is worth. If you have purchased the game from us, we really want it.  Try us before you go through the hassle of advertising it or selling it on-line.  Have you ever packed a game for shipping? It's no fun.
